a Sales Director with demonstrated success driving revenue growth
directly and through others. This Sales Director will also have a
strong analytical background, and a customer-centric attitude. In
this role you will be directly responsible for managing a team of
Sales Representatives, training, coaching, sales forecasting,
tracking sales team performance metrics and reporting data on a
regular basis. Sales Directors do not typically have direct selling
responsibility, however in some smaller areas the Sales Directors
may have responsibility for key clients, but primary
responsibilities MUST be managing a Sales Team. How You'll
Contribute Lead a team of Sales Representatives within the property
data and financial services space: managing performance, coaching,
mentoring, hiring and career development. Develop and execute the
sales strategy by leveraging best practice frameworks, methods,
techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Clearly
communicate the sales strategy, goals, sales targets and
expectations. Collaborate with internal marketing teams to develop
local, regional and/or divisional marketing content to drive brand
awareness to support sales strategy. Utilize a variety of
accountability tools to assesses/evaluate and take corrective
action when needed towards the success of the sales strategy and
the execution predetermined expectations of the sales team.
Actively recruit, retain and develop talent and hold employees
accountable for results. Lead change, manage conflict and foster
collaboration. Facilitate work and problem resolution between work
groups and may lead cross functional/inter-departmental projects
and/or process improvement efforts. Develop and modify policies and
processes that impact team. What You'll Bring Bachelor’s degree or
equivalent combination of education and experience 7-10 years of
directly related experience in the property data and/or financial
services industry 3-5 years demonstrated experience in a
supervisory or management role. Comfortable with virtual
presentations, embraces technology and embraces change Demonstrated
success in delivering results through others Proven track record in
creating sales forecasts, identifying new areas of growth, and
accurately analyzing sales performance data High level of business
acumen, strategic agility, ability to develop others, and influence
change Drive and models client loyalty, expectations, feedback, and
ensures commitments are met Demonstrated success establishing,
leading and maintaining effective working relationships. May
require a valid driver’s license. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
(KSAs) Successful track record designing, developing, and executing
complex projects in area of functional expertise. Ability to
establish and maintain effective working relationships at the
Management level across functional groups and business units.
Adeptness to influence the thinking of, or gain acceptance from
others in sensitive situations, using influence and preventing
damage to the relationships. Strong capacity to communicate the
function’s vision and the department’s direction and set aligned
goals. Provides resources and creates systems to measure results.
Familiar with competitor, financial and industry dynamics. Drives
and models customer loyalty, manages customer expectations,
solicits customer feedback and ensures commitments are met.
Provides others with reliable information and delivers informative
and persuasive presentations. Uses good listening skills and
negotiates effectively. Collaboratively engages with leaders to
create, identify, and implement solutions to further effectiveness
of the business. High level of business acumen, strategic agility,
ability to develop others, and influence change. Pay Range:
$162,000-$179,800 annually (This amount is a combination of base
salary plus potential incentive pay target) This hiring range is a
reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the
time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may
include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business
requirements and geographic location. Note that the following
statements only apply to candidates who will be working from an
unincorporated area within Los Angeles County. First American will
