Job Description Job Description FPGA Prototyping & RTL Engineer (Vivado/Quartus) Title: FPGA Prototyping & RTL Engineer (Vivado/Quartus) - Neuromorphic AI Chips Location: Laguna Hills, CA 92653 (Orange County) - Onsite 3 days per week Salary: $150,000 - $180,000 10% Bonus Equity Relocation $$ Founded in 2004 we are a 60 employee neuromorphic computing semiconductor company that develops low power AI processors that mimic the human brain's event based learning and inference capabilities, enabling edge devices to perform real time intelligence with minimal energy consumption. For this FPGA Design Engineer position you will architect, implement, and optimize FPGA based digital systems that directly support the development, validation, and integration of cutting edge neuromorphic AI hardware. What You Will Be Doing Design, implement & optimize FPGA based digital logic using Verilog for high performance, low power applications Develop RTL architectures, perform synthesis & drive timing closure while ensuring efficient resource utilization Build and maintain simulation environments, testbenches & verification flows using industry standard tools Troubleshoot hardware, firmware & system level issues guiding internal teams and customers through FPGA integration and optimization Support embedded software interaction with FPGA logic incl: system profiling, tool chain workflows & hardware/software co debug What You Need for this Position 5 years of FPGA development experience w/ strong proficiency in Verilog, RTL design, simulation & debugging Hands on experience w/ FPGA toolchains (Vivado, Quartus, ModelSim), timing analysis & synthesis optimization Embedded software experience incl: system level debugging, tool chain development & familiarity with RTOS environments Strong understanding of SoC buses (AXI, AHB, APB), high speed interfaces (PCIe, DDR, Ethernet) & standard protocols (SPI, I2C, USB) Proficiency w/ Python or shell scripting plus experience using advanced debug tools such as VCS/Verdi What's In It for You Full Benefits Package (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, LTD/STD, 401k w/ match) and more!
