Hourly Pay Range (Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum):
$52.340 - $67.536 - $82.731
The stated pay scale reflects the range that Sharp reasonably
expects to pay for this position. The actual pay rate and pay grade
for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors,
including an applicant's years of experience, unique skills and
abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates,
marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and
employer business practices.
What You Will Do
This position strategically leads, mentors and directs an entity
HRTM team to provide a comprehensive range of HRTM services and
resources in collaboration with the Director, HRTM. Examples
include oversight such as: consistent application of employee and
labor relations, broad knowledge of Federal and State regulations
and labor laws, recruitment, compensation, safety, workers'
compensation, diversity, wellness, data analytics, leadership
training and succession planning (within HRTM as well as
entity-based leadership). This position is responsible for
operationalizing the strategic initiatives of HRTM by aligning with
system colleagues both internal and external to HRTM. The overall
objective is to provide the consultative support and leadership
influence, at all levels, to enhance the outcome of the Sharp
Experience: Best Place to Work, Best Place to Practice Medicine,
and Best Place to Receive Care.

Essential Functions
Utilizes cumulative tools (e.g., Crucial Accountability, Sharp
Experience, HRO) to elevate the talent of internal and external
clients.
Analyzes data and anecdotal trends to strategically determine areas
of improvement within entity HRTM as well as entity leadership to
retain and energize talent.
Role-model leadership qualities to mentor/influence staff and
leaders, e.g. integrity, credibility, team-building and
inclusion.
Effectively partner with key stakeholders for optimal support,
alignment and understanding of HRTM initiatives that contribute to
the employee experience/engagement, e.g. timely evaluations.
Oversight of interdepartmental team projects to ensure quality,
accuracy and efficiency.
Model exceptional management behaviors including translating the
overall HRTM vision into clear direction, providing meaningful
feedback, managing performance and supporting and recognizing HRTM
team members as measured by HRTM's employee engagement and
retention.
Help ensure that all employees experience Sharp as The Best Place
to Work by providing feedback and input into the delivery of HRTM
services and resources as measured by employee engagement and
retention.
Proactively stays current and seeks best and innovative approaches
in identifying new trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and
new technologies in human resources, talent management, training,
and employment and labor law.
Ensures entity execution and consistency of delivery of services to
align with HRTM strategies.
Engages in system-wide projects, orientation, training and
development and celebrations, as needed to help ensure that HRTM
strategies and goals are aligned and continuously improving.
In coordination with Director, HRTM utilizes metrics to design,
implement, re-evaluate human resource programs and processes based
on data analysis and outcome measures.
Provides guidance and support for maintaining consistency and
compliance with Sharp HealthCare practices and policies as measured
by effective employee relations and meeting or exceeding entity and
HRTM goals.
Is responsible for the management and mentoring of the entity HRTM
team including fostering relationships across the HRTM
division.
Is accessible to managers and employees as a resource for effective
relationships, professional and personal growth and development,
recognizing and celebrating achievements and contributing to
community inside and outside of Sharp.
Incorporate the key initiatives of HRTM into everyday business with
clients, e.g. Leadership training/mentoring and care for the
caregiver, to establish a foundation of trust and connectivity.
Develops effective individual and organizational communications as
needed in support of education, training, employee relations and
benefits administration.
Provides support and partner with clients for hard to fill
positions. Competent with equity reviews and pay adjustment
recommendations.
Utilizes resources to provide clients guidance with Employee
Engagement Survey, as well as retention and compensation data, with
the goal of recruiting and developing a superior workforce.
Financial awareness of healthcare reimbursement and the ability to
translate HRTM-related issues into recommendations for each client,
e.g. no meal/no break activity, attendance issues, and premium pay
implications.
