Job Description:

Excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse with home health and clinical management experience to join our growing and dynamic home health organization. - We provide services to home health patients in the greater San Diego County and Riverside Counties. -
The Director of Nursing is responsible for managing the home health organization's daily operations, including medical professionals' and practitioners' medical procedures and treatments. The Director of Nursing works with other healthcare professionals to optimize treatments, assess patients' health conditions, and administer medications. They also enforce strict sanitary and hygienic procedures for the strict compliance of the staff. The Director of Nursing must have excellent knowledge of the medical industry to discuss recommendations and evaluate work procedures to provide the patients' highest quality services.
Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• 
  
• Coordination and management of all services rendered to patients and families by direct service staff under his/her supervision;
  
• Supervision of assigned nursing personnel in the delivery of nursing services to patients and families;
  
• Direct evaluation of the clinical competence of assigned nursing personnel and participation with appropriate supervisory staff in the evaluation of other direct service staff;
  
• Participation in or development of all agency objectives, standards of care, policies, and procedures affecting clinical services;
  
• Participation in direct services staff recruitment, selection, orientation, and in-service education;
  
• Participation in program planning, budgeting, and evaluation activities related to the clinical benefits of the agency
  
• Oversee day-to-day clinical operations of services provided to patients by clinicians and caregivers
  
• Oversee the quality assurance and OASIS review team
  
• Go in the field to see patients during supervisory visits
  
• Go in the field to do admissions or nursing visits from time to time as/if/when needed
  
  Requirements/Qualifications:
  
  • 
    
  • Registered Nurse -with an active license in good standing to practice nursing in California
    
  • Clinical Management experience required
    
  • Minimum of -two years experience within the last five years in a home health agency
    
  • OASIS documentation experience
    
  • Familiarity with Kinnser / Wellsky Home Health is a plus
    
  • Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured and by state requirements -
    
  • Must have current CPR Certification
    
  • Computer proficiency including MS Excel, Word, video conferencing, and email.
