Qualifications Ph.D. in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
(ABD status considered, however, terminal degree is required at the
time of hire) California Speech-Language Pathology License (or
eligibility to obtain) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in
Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) A minimum of three years of
clinical experience in the candidate’s area of expertise Planned or
active research program in candidate’s area(s) of expertise
Demonstrated evidence or potential for teaching excellence at the
university level Ability to teach courses in speech sound
disorders, language development and disorders, assessment and
treatment of bilingual and/or social communication disorders If
Associate, demonstrated experience with accreditation and evidence
of prior departmental or university service Preferred
Qualifications Bilingual English-Spanish speaker Research plan or
productivity commensurate with rank and experience Ability to teach
in multiple content areas related to pediatric speech and language

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $7,125- $8,646 per month CSU
Classification Salary Range: $6,221- $14,523 per month Review of

the position is filled. CSUSM is currently not sponsoring
applicants for H-1B employment that are subject to the $100,000 fee
established by the “Presidential Proclamation: Restriction on Entry
