The Role As we continue to grow as one QuidelOrtho, we are seeking
a Senior Master Data Analyst to join our team. As a member of the
Global Vendor Master Data Team, the Senior Master Data Analyst will
support day to day and independently drive project-focused work in
close partnership with global and US-based team members. This role
is responsible for liaising directly with our suppliers and
internal customers, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of
supplier records across systems, as well as being a key partner to
the Vendor Master Data Manager on special projects, continuous
improvement initiatives, and data auditing & governance needs. This
role requires both in-depth understanding of Vendor Master Data,
but also excellent interpersonal skills - a detail-oriented team
player who pursues excellence with curiosity and critical thinking.
While this role is based in the US, this is a global position and
requires flexibility across multiple time zones (primarily Europe).
This position can be Hybrid in San Diego, CA. The
Responsibilities
- Communicates effectively and with high quality of service (both
writing and verbal) to internal customers and external
suppliers.
- Identifies problems and actively collaborates to drive and
implement win-win solutions.
- Supports manager in moving forward deliverables related to
projects, initiatives, continuous improvement opportunities.
- Completes incoming new supplier/change requests in a timely and
accurate manner by performing integrity checks to ensure a high
quality of master data records.
- Ensures all requests contain the appropriate supporting
documentation and comply with corporate requirements before they
implemented into SAP.
- Acts as the primary point of contact for business questions
relating to vendor master data.
- Identifies and follows up appropriately on opportunities for
increased accuracy, efficiencies, standardization, and
rationalization of vendor master data.
- Analyzes and improves data quality, which includes running
scheduled data audit reports (e.g., elimination of duplicates,
standard texts formats, retirement).
- Reviews existing data for completeness, accuracy, and
continuous improvement opportunities.
- Sets up and maintains vendors records and attaches all related
documents.
- Must be able to provide clear, consistent direction and
guidance regarding vendor master data, vendor due diligence, &
vendor requirements (W9s/W8s, ACH information, 1099 status,
etc.).
The Individual Required:
- Minimum 3+ years demonstrated work experience in Master Data,
Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain (or equivalent experience)
- Demonstrated proficiency with SAP ERP Vendor (or Customer)
Master Data
- Advanced Expertise in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas)
required
- Ability / willingness to leverage additional Microsoft Tools
(e.g., Visio, SharePoint, MS project etc.)
- Self-starter and critical thinker who connects the dots to
drive data quality, customer satisfaction, and audit finding
risks.
- Excellent communicator with high standards for quality of
service delivered to internal customers / external suppliers.
- Superior interpersonal skills with ability to actively
collaborate and work in a team environment.
- Takes ownership of problems and actively collaborate for
win-win solutions.
- Self-starter, capable of working autonomously and with global
teams.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with high degree of
accuracy.

- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, tools,
and techniques. Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree required in business, Accounting, Finance,
Supply Chain, or related field
- Fluency in language(s) other than English, ideal
- Working knowledge of Accounts payable process and
accounting.
- SAP working knowledge. The Key Working Relationships Internal
Partners: Customers, business partners across all functions,
globally. External Partners: Vendors/ Suppliers The Work
Environment The work environment characteristics are representative
of a typical office environment; no strenuous physical activity,
though occasional light lifting of files and related materials is
required. 40% of time in meetings, working with the team/other
cross functional teams, or talking on the phone, 60% of the time at
the desk on computer, doing some technical and non-technical
related work. -Flexible work hours to meet project deadlines as
needed. Salary Transparency The salary range for this position
takes into account a wide range of factors including education,
experience, knowledge, skills, geography, and abilities of the
candidate, in addition to internal equity and alignment with market
data. At QuidelOrtho, it is not typical for an individual to be
hired at or near the top range for their role and compensation
decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each
case. The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $118,000and
is bonus eligible.QuidelOrtho offers a comprehensive benefits
